You should also ensure the attic and basement have proper ventilation. Mold will grow in these areas if the rooms have been poorly waterproofed. The same goes for the crawl space. If the area isn’t ventilated right and water isn’t draining away from your house then you could end up with a mold infestation right under your feet.

Once you find mold, it’s time to get to work. The thing about mold removal, however, is that it’s a tricky business. Mold spores are very resilient, and it can be difficult to get it all cleaned up. If you catch it early enough, you can eliminate the mold growing in your bathroom by thoroughly cleaning the space and increasing ventilation.
